For Burberry’s Fall 2017 show entitled Here We Are staged at Old Sessions House in Clerkenwell, I illustrated a cast of irreverent cartoon characters. These prints were hand-drawn onto trench coats, painted onto shearling jackets and printed onto silk scarves. The collection encompassed the elevated eccentricity of British style fused with a blend of gritty streetwear.
This direction evolved to adopt a nostalgic punk aesthetic in subsequent mainline collections, fused with icons inspired by figures of British literature, ceramic marks and doodles.
